2024 Topps Jackson Holliday Fun Face Cut Rookie Card Pulled by Vintage Breaks

2024 Topps Jackson Holliday Fun Face Cut Rookie Card Pulled by Vintage Breaks

Hit of the product! From 2024 Topps Series 2 baseball we pulled the rare Jackson Holliday "fun face" short print with the saw cut variation.

Remember the 1989 Fleer Billy Ripken baseball card with the dirty word on the bat knob? The word that surely got you grounded if you dared speak it, even though dad said it all the time. You wanted that card so bad as a kid. ...maybe even now that you have adult money. Flash forward 35 years later, Topps has created a new version of the Ripken card staring the top prospect in baseball, Jackson Holliday. Behold: the FUN Face card.

Mirroring the different variations of the Ripken Fleer card, the Topps Jackson Holiday cards have the same variations today that you can find the Ripken in including:

  • Fun Face (instead of the other F word...)
  • Black Box over the Fun Face writing
  • Black Scribble over the Fun Face
  • White Knob
  • White Scribble
  • Cut

The CUT being the toughest, has an actual cut in the card as if someone took a band saw partially to it. While breaking a hobby fox for Lukas on Vintage Breaks West, Charlie G pulled the rare Saw Cut Fun Face Jackson Holliday!

 Video of the pull:

Congrats, Lukas! You can see the saw cut from the bottom of the card between the Orioles logo and Holliday's name that goes up to a little over the Nike logo on the jersey. Of course, the Fun Face text is right there on the bat knob.

Speaking of dirty words, Charlie G let one slip out while pulling this card! He was a little excited. Sir Charles let his mind slip back to 1989 when Michael Keaton was Batman, we all had crushes on Kelly Kapowski, and The New Kids on the Block could be heard on every radio.

If you want to relive those 1989 memories and try to pull your own Jackson Holliday Fun Face card, we have more breaks available! We have breaks for a single pack of hobby or jumbo, and personal boxes of hobby and jumbo.

Breaks start at $7.50 like these hobby packs HERE.

We love the hobby box design with Juan Soto in Yankee pinstripes, perhaps looking at a homer he just mashed.
